International Law and Human Rights master’s programme joins Erasmus Mundus Master Degree in International Law of Security, Peace and Sustainable Development (ILSPSD)

We are pleased to announce that the University of Tartu is a partner in the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Programme in International Law of Security, Peace and Sustainable Development (ILGSPD).

The programme was awarded a high score in the Erasmus Mundus evaluation, confirming its outstanding academic quality, strong consortium structure, and international relevance.


About the Programme

The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in International Law of Security, Peace and Sustainable Development (ILGSPD) provides advanced, research-oriented training at the intersection of international law, international relations, security studies, and sustainability. The programme prepares graduates for careers in international organisations, public administration, research, and related professional fields.


Consortium and Study Mobility

The programme is delivered by a consortium of leading European universities:

  • Leuphana University of Lüneburg
  • Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals (IBEI)
  • University of Glasgow
  • Université libre de Bruxelles
  • Universidade NOVA de Lisboa
  • University of Tartu

Students begin their studies at Leuphana University of Lüneburg (Semester 1), continue at IBEI in Barcelona (Semester 2), and then proceed to their chosen partner universities according to their selected study tracks.

Degrees Awarded

Depending on the selected study track, graduates are awarded a combination of Master’s degrees, which may include LL.M. and/or M.A. degrees.
