Professor Kåre Lilleholt is the main partner from the University of Oslo in the project "Topical Issues of Consumer Credit in Estonia and Norway" (project manager prof. Karin Sein), funded via a research cooperation grant by the Norwegian and EEA Financial Mechanism. The referred project focuses on the issues related to usurious instant loans, principle of responsible lending, justification of restrictions on party autonomy in consumer credit contracts and also consumer protection in financial leasing transactions and consumer securities. The lecture gives an opportunity to get acquainted with the results of the project and also gain an overview of the legislation as well as court and legal practice in the countries participating in the project (Estonia and Norway).
