Visiting Lecturer at the IT Law Programme Will Be a Speaker at an International Conference Held 5-6 May in Tallinn
The international Conference held in Tallinn is called "State Practice and the Future of International Law in Cyberspace " will take place in Tallinn on May 5-6.
The Conference brings together recognized experts from all over the world to discuss the State practice in the field of international cyber security and its implications for the development of international law. Among speakers is also a visiting Lectrer at the IT Law Programme, Dr. Eneken Tikk-Ringas.
The focus of the presentations ranges from national views on the application of international law to cybersecurity to accountability and the limits of international law.
The conference presents academic, private sector and State perspectives, whilst discussing the future of international law and other relevant norms pertaining to the use of ICTs.
The keynote speeches of the conference will be delivered by Prof Duncan Hollis from the US and Prof Anatoly Streltsov from Russia.
The main organisers of the conference are the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Estonia and Cyber Policy Institute, led by Dr. Mika Kerttunen.
The Project Manager for the Conference is Liisi Adamson who is also a student at the IT Law Programme in University of Tartu.
