Tartu Ülikooli rahvusvahelise õiguse ja inimõiguste ajakiri (University of Tartu Journal of International Law and Human Rights)

Tartu Ülikooli rahvusvahelise õiguse ja inimõiguste ajakiri (University of Tartu Journal of International Law and Human Rights) on teadusajakiri, mille eesmärk on avaldada rahvusvahelise avaliku õiguse ja inimõiguste teemalisi artikleid globaalsest, regionaalsest või võrdlevast vaatenurgast, pöörates tähelepanu nii õiguse arengule kui ka praktikale.

Kõik kaastööd läbivad rahvusvahelistele akadeemilistele standarditele vastava topeltpimeda (double-blind) retsenseerimise. Ajakirja toimetavad Tartu Ülikooli üliõpilased ning seda toetab akadeemiline toimetuskolleegium. Kuigi ajakiri on avatud kõigile ingliskeelsetele teadusartiklitele, ootame eeskät üliõpilaste ja alustavate teadlaste kaastöid kogu maailmast, eriti selliseid, mis käsitlevad kriitiliselt rahvusvahelise õiguskorra tänapäevaseid väljakutseid.

Seega erinedes paljudest teistest teadusajakirjadest on ajakirja peamine eesmärk pakkuda platvormi kõigi astmete üliõpilastele ja alustavatele teadlastele oma tööde avaldamiseks ning akadeemilise kirjastamise oskuste arendamiseks. Ajakiri loodi rahvusvahelise õiguse ja inimõiguste magistrantide algatusel 2021. aastal, et kujundada foorum põhjalikuks uurimistööks rahvusvahelise õiguse ja inimõiguste valdkonnas. Ajakiri on täies ulatuses Tartu Ülikooli üliõpilaste poolt korraldatud ja juhitud. Kaastööst ja toimetamises osalemisest huvitatud üliõpilased on julgustatud võtma ühendust toimetuskolleegiumiga.

Structure of the Article

The articles shall follow the following structure:

  1. Title
  2. An abstract that can be up to 300 words.
  3. A table of content
  4. A structured body of the text (including the introduction and conclusion)
  5. A bibliography

Submission requirements

File format
The files shall be sent either as a MS Word file or as a Google Docs file. The files shall not be sent in PDF format

Language
The articles shall be written in English

Length
The length of the articles shall be 1500 between 3500 words including footnotes while excluding the cover page and bibliography

Style
The articles shall follow the style of the European Journal of International Law as provided by EJIL’s style sheet.

No plagiarism of any kind will be tolerated!
