Tõnu Lehtsaar is a professor of the psychology of religion at the University of Tartu. Currently, he is working as the staff counselor-chaplain at the same university. He has a Master’s degree in psychology, a PhD in education from the University of Tartu, and a doctoral degree in psychology of religion from the University of Amsterdam.
His research field is the psychology of religion and pastoral psychology. He has done research in the field of the psychology of interpersonal conflict and public speaking as well. Due to his counseling practice, his current interest is the psychology of pastoral counseling.
