Guest lecture "The Crime of Aggression in International Criminal Law: Past, Present, and Future" on June 10

On 10 June 2024 at 15:00-16:30, there will be a guest lecture at the Tallinn premises of the University of Tartu School of Law (Kaarli 3, auditorium 101).

The speaker will be Sergey Sayapin, Professor of International Law at KIMEP University, Almaty (Kazakhstan). 

The topic of the lecture is "The Crime of Aggression in International Criminal Law: Past, Present, and Future".  

The lecturer will be introduced by Merilin Kiviorg, associate professor of international law at the University of Tartu.

Professor Sayapin is the author of the monograph 'The Crime of Aggression in International Criminal Law' (Springer, 2014) and co-editor of the book 'The Use of Force against Ukraine and International Law. Jus Ad Bellum, Jus In Bello, Jus Post Bellum' (Springer, 2018) .
