This year's issue is dedicated to an important milestone - the 70th birthday of Professor Emeritus Paul Varul. Professor Irene Kull stresses that Varul's contribution to the building of the Estonian legal system is hard to overestimate. The Emeritus Professor's faith in young lawyers and respect for his colleagues is a quality that Varul's students and colleagues have emulated.
