The University of Tartu invites its alumni back to the university city on 18 May. The first half of the get-together "Back to the university" will be filled with gatherings at institutes, tours of the university buildings, lectures by legendary academic staff and revived student traditions. In the evening, there will be a sing-along in front of the main building, a procession and a party in the university’s sports hall with 2 Quick Start, Justament and others performing.
The University of Tartu invites international students interested in English-taught curricula to submit their applications in DreamApply. Studies will start at the beginning of September 2024.
The jury of the architecture competition, organised by the University of Tartu in cooperation with the Estonian Association of Architects, selected the best design solution for reconstructing the academic building of the university’s Tallinn office of the School of Law and designing the yard area. The winning entry was “Cascade” by the architectural office Kauss Arhitektuur OÜ.
As the anniversary of the Republic of Estonia approaches, President Alar Karis bestows Estonian state decorations to 151 people, nine of whom are members of the university family.
Lectures of the highly recommended insolvency law experts prof Stephan Madaus, prof Paul J. Omar and prof Christoph G. Paulus have been converted into articles in a newly published bulletin.
Adult learners are welcome to participate in micro-credential programmes starting in the spring semester and delivered in block mode or online form suitable for working people. Applications can be submitted until 21 January 2024.
